Cheats

HexCheat:

 Load a Savegame into your hexeditor and search for the word
 FWEAPGUNS. In the next row between position 01 and 02 there are the
 weapons you can use on your missions. You could edit them to:

 01 = Meson Blaster          06 = Laser
 02 = Particle Gun           07 = Tachycon Cannon
 03 = Ionic Pulse Canon      08 = Skeltec 1
 04 = Mass Driver            09 = Skeltec 2
 05 = Plasma Gun

Goodie:

 In Privateer you can also find two secret text adventures mentioned
 nowhere:

 1. Rename the file tabtne.vda into advent.bat and start it to get
    the first one.
 2. Rename the file tabtxe.nda into adnext.bat and start it to get
    the second game.
