Cheat, what do I say, cheat procedure:
 This procedure will allow you to have all the Hercs available from
 the begining of a campaign. You need to follow all the steps
 precisely. The capitalized text equates to files, directories, or
 buttons in the game.
 After you swap out the GO.EXE files the weapons descriptions will
 be wrong until you finish the procedure. Good luck!!!!!

 1. Download Sierra's ESPAT1.EXE patch. This patch includes difficulty
    levels that were not included in the disk or CD versions.
 2. Install Earthseige
 3. Create TEMP and TEMP1 directories, then save GO.EXE from the
    \SIERRA\MTECH directory into the TEMP directory.
    (GO.EXE from the initial installation).
 4. Put ESPAT1.EXE in the \SIERRA\MTECH directory.
 5. Run ESPAT1.EXE
 6. Run the PATCH.BAT file that gets extracted from ESPAT1.EXE.
 7. Copy the GO.EXE file that gets extracted from ESPAT1.EXE to the
    TEMP1 dir.
 8. Copy GO.EXE from the TEMP directory over the GO.EXE in the
    \SIERRA\MTECH directory. (overwrite)
 9. Start Earthseige
10. Create a NEW Campaign with the difficulty level of your choice!!
11. After the intro, select MAIN MENU.
12. Select INSTANT ACTION
13. Select ARMING
14. Select DONE
15. Select CANCEL
16. Select RETURN TO MAIN
17. Select RESUME
18. Select MAIN MENU
19. Select CAREER
20. Select SAVE/RESTORE
21. Select SAVE
22. Select DONE
23. Select MAIN MENU
24. Select INSTANT ACTION
25. Select ARMING
26. Select DONE
27. Select CANCEL
28. Select RETURN TO MAIN
29. Select RESUME
30. Check your CREW and verify you have the big Hercs!!!
31. Go back to MAIN MENU
32. Select CAREER
33. Select SAVE\RESTORE
34. Select SAVE
35. Select DONE
36. Select MAIN MENU
34. Select EXIT TO DOS
35. Copy GO.EXE from TEMP1 directory back into the \SIERRA\MTECH dir.

Now you should be able to play the campaigns with all the Hercs
available from the first mission! The file GO.EXE from ESPAT1.EXE was
created by Sierra to fix several items including this bug that
carries over the Hercs from INSTANT ACTION missions. If you start a
new campaign you need to swap out the GO.EXE files or you won't be
able to use the above cheat.
